this part was fun and kind of tricky, the front part of the bodice is displayed on it's own but not the back or even one of the sides.
the sketch for the front took me a few minutes but i got a shape i was happy with.
still need to sketch out the back and the sides.
as well the bodice pattern stuff, this week i trialed the fringe with some blue string, and now i'm confident i can do the fringe for the final dress

Still working on front, my original was too short, and was slightly lopsided
Finally getting close to something usable, still have the back and sides to do though

Kaylee's Layer cake shindig dress, part 3. (Yay)
Went shopping, got some of the stuff i needed,
Just a zip some thread and some of the fabric,
I still need the lacey embroidered materiel for the overlay on the bodice, I've deiced to use a mix of net and cotton on the petticoat so i'll need to get some net and more cotton, still need all the ribbon for all the trim, some more white, peach and pink satin for the over-skirt, I'm swapping the organza out for satin coz it's cheaper, and i still need also to get the buttonsJust a zip some thread and some of the fabric,
Satin, Zip, white cotton thread, white cotton fabric.
Here's a better photo. the cotton fabric in on the left, thread is next. then the zip and the satin
----
Got the lacy material for the overlay as well as the ruffly ribbon for the neck trim and for the sides of the bodice.
Had a quick look around in mum's sewing box and found a couple of spools of pink thread and another of white.
Here is a pic of my newly reorganized drawer where i'm keeping the stuff

UPDATE: couldn't find anything i could afford or liked yesterday for materials
